Here are the photos of our current Gallery Master. Enjoy, everyone.

Heavenly Demon) Where did you obtain that wooden crown?

Wild Grylls) I carved it myself hehe

Sword Matstar) You’re quite handy. By the way, are there no more photos?

Wild Grylls) Wonmo threw a tantrum, so I couldn’t take any more.

Sword Matstar) That’s a bit unfortunate.

Don’t Abandon the Hero) Upload 5 photos and 3 videos immediately, or I will ban you!

Wild Grylls) If you ban me, our Gallery Master will be sad...

Don’t Abandon the Hero) Then I have no choice! I’ll just have to curse Grylls-nim!

Wild Grylls) Excuse me? ;;

Cursing someone for not showing the Gallery Master LMAO

Ah lol hurry up and upload Gallery Master pics lol we gotta bake new memes lol

A Hero’s curse, of all people—that’s a bit scary.

Those commentators probably joined in without knowing she’s the actual Hero. I let out a light chuckle.

Princess Chaenggu) Someday our Gallery Master will grow big and fierce too... but wouldn’t he still be cute?

Don’t worry. The next Gallery Master has already been set as Tyranno.

Dragons grow super slow anyway. So the next Gallery Master is definitely Tyranno lol

Princess Chaenggu) You guys are so mean. Deciding the next Gallery Master already. How heartless.

So would you rather Grylls be the next Gallery Master?

Princess Chaenggu) I think being heartless is fine sometimes.

Right. Honesty is key LMAO

Tyranno is way better than a hairy dude lol

Isn’t Wonmo covered in hair too?

But he’s cute.

Praise the Sun) Ah. I wanna upload pics of my pet soon too lol

Don’t people in Setan raise lions or something?

Praise the Sun) Yeah, but mine is something a bit unique.

What kind?

Praise the Sun) Hasn’t hatched yet.

Posting pics of your own kid is kinda... lol

Isn’t the pregnancy rate for Dark Elves low too?

Since he’s a half-human, it’s higher than full elves, but still low yeah.

Praise the Sun) It’s not my kid, it’s someone else’s, so just wait and see lol

Posting photos of Wonmo, who became this generation’s Gallery Master, brought in a flood of comments in an instant.

Wonmo becoming the Gallery Master was unexpected, but like someone said, he’s cute, so that’s that.

’Tyranno just lacked time to appeal his charm.’

Of course, Tyranno is cute too. If Wonmo is classic cuteness, Tyranno has the kind of cuteness straight out of a cartoon.

I handed out snacks to the two cuties who would be responsible for providing healing around the Shelter.

The snack was just sweet potatoes, but this alone was more than enough.

’The kids really love sweet potatoes.’

Out of all snacks, sweet potatoes are by far the most popular.

Thanks to that, I had no choice but to plant sweet potatoes the most. I asked Grow Big and Tall for all the seedlings.

After watching Wonmo and Tyranno eat sweet potatoes, I stepped out of the cave.

I needed to finish all my tasks before summer arrived.

’First, I need to build the drying shed...’

The method for building a drying shed is extremely simple.

Just build a well-ventilated building and place charcoal inside.

Charcoal is truly all-purpose—it even has the effect of sucking up moisture. Knowledge gained from the Gallery.

Of course, for better drying, I should design it so the internal temperature can be raised.

’More than that, I’m worried about that pumpkin.’

The gigantic pumpkin left behind by the Pumpkin Jack we subdued last time.

I had left it alone because it was tricky to deal with, but as summer approached, it became a problem.

The worry of what if the pumpkin rots and swarms with bugs.

Maybe the inside had already been eaten by bugs. In that case, I’d have to discard it all.

’Discarding it is also a hassle, that’s the problem.’

The best way would be to devour it right away... but no matter how gluttonous my kids are, it’s too much.

For now, what I can do is check on it and apply insect repellent to our bodies in advance.Get faster updates on novelping . com.

Then at least there won’t be any worries about bug bites.

Thinking thus, I decided to start constructing the drying shed first.

’Even if it rains here, it’s not very humid... but just in case.’

The drying shed didn’t need to be built large. Roughly the size of two single-person restrooms attached together.

The material was bricks, naturally, and I laid straw so moisture wouldn’t rise from the ground.

Since I had left-over straw from harvesting rice earlier, there was no need to buy any at the Auction House.

’It would be nice if there were glass windows.’

Drying in sunlight is best, but unfortunately, there’s no glass.

Making the interior as dry as possible and raising the temperature was the best choice.

To do that, I also installed a small fireplace. This should make drying easier.

Laying down drainage channels would mark the end of the shed construction. Now it was time to set up the interior.

I arranged charcoal here and there and lit the fireplace to heat the space.

Once it felt reasonably warm, I placed shelves purchased from the Auction House and put the date palm fruits on them.

’They said it’s done when white powder forms like on dried persimmons, right?’

Now, installing a curtain canopy at the entrance finishes it up. The drying shed is complete.

Since I built it roughly, there might be trial and error. Still, the forest itself is dry, so it should be sufficient.

"Lackey. A huge swarm of bugs will appear tomorrow or the day after, so be careful."

"Got it."

"Here’s insect repellent, so apply it thoroughly."

Lackey, who had nearly been eaten alive by a swarm of bugs a month ago, dutifully obeyed my words.

Now that he has a proper house to rest in, he should be fine.

’Since the Sky Whale arrives after lunch...’

Just as I thought I could watch the Sky Whale while I was at it, Cain suddenly came to mind.

I wonder if Cain has ever seen the Sky Whale. Even though he lived after the Mythic Era, I was curious.

"Cain-ssi. Cain-ssi, have you ever seen the Sky Whale?"

[Sky Whale? Do you perchance mean that whale floating in the sky?]

"Yes. I might see that whale tomorrow."

[I thought they were extinct, how fascinating.]

’Extinct’, huh? That means he’s aware of their existence.

As the first holy knight, he must have witnessed far more strange phenomena than modern people.

"So you believed in their existence?"

[Of course. But at some point, they all vanished. It was speculated that their extinction was caused by frequent human whaling.]

"They hunted the Sky Whale?"

[Humanity was literally at war with dragons back then; a Sky Whale was nothing.]

Indeed, whaling a Sky Whale would be easier than hunting a dragon.

Regardless, it went to show how terrifying human greed truly was.

[By the way, if the Sky Whale exists, there’s a high probability other things do as well.]

"For example?"

[What else could it be? I mean mythical entities like Cyclopes or the Hydra. Come to think of it, the master of the Inverted Waterfall from last time is an example as well.]

"That’s really helpful advice. Should I study mythology while I’m at it?"

In those cases, most of them are probably the local rulers or lords of their respective territories.

Or maybe the Forest of the Four Seasons triggered genetic mutations in them.

[You need not worry too much. Even creatures from the Mythic Era are not immortal.]

"And who hunted them? Usually in myths, gods or heroes comparable to them subdues such beasts."

[You know it well. You could become like that as well.]

Thanks for the comforting words, at least. I chuckled softly and began preparing dinner.

With even dragons having overpowered individuals, I wondered if I could ever get that strong.

’Still, I’m relatively lucky. I need to steadily seek ways to survive.’

Because the Forest of the Four Seasons contains so many natural environments, starting points are extreme hits or misses.

You might start in a decent spot like me or Ludwig, or if you’re unlucky, land in a radioactive zone or volcanic zone.

Even if you luck out and land in an ordinary forest, you have no idea what lives there.

’Where on earth did the illegally dumped people land right about now?’

I was curious for a brief moment, then just brushed it off.

’Let’s just plant sweet potatoes.’

Right now, the sweet potatoes my kids will eat are what matter most.

"Fuck me."

A man spat out a foul curse. It was the language of Zhongyuan.

The man’s identity was the Blood Cult remnant whom Yoo So-wol had missed. He was currently inside the Forest of the Four Seasons.

Surviving the Heavenly Demon, who could only be described as a natural disaster, was truly a miracle.

However, from the moment he entered the Forest of the Four Seasons, miracles ceased to occur. Rather, it was the exact opposite.Get faster updates on NovelPing.

"How the hell am I supposed to get out of here?!"

He had heard plenty about the infamous reputation of the Forest of the Four Seasons. Moreover, important information had recently been released.

So the man had thoroughly prepared. He underwent grueling training for the resurrection of the Blood Cult.

Since internal energy could not be used inside the Forest of the Four Seasons, he had tempered his external arts solidly.

Indeed, as soon as he entered the forest, powerful pressure weighed upon him, rendering him unable to use internal energy at all.

He felt relieved inside, thinking his training had paid off, but that was brief.

Chul-sseok- chul-sseok-

Blue waves lapped back and forth, displaying a magnificent sight.

Had he simply come for sightseeing, he would have marveled at it, but currently he bore a noble mission.

"Dammit all..."

Front, back, left, right—everything was ocean. The man swore once more.

It was fortunate that he at least had land to step on; otherwise, it would have been catastrophic.

Of course, regardless of that, his plight of being utterly stranded remained unchanged. It wasn’t anywhere else, but the sea.

Seeing nothing beyond the horizon, he couldn’t even swim across.

A terrain perfectly suitable to be called a deserted island. Was the only saving grace the abundance of trees?

’There’s no choice. I’ll just have to craft a raft.’

The man resolved thus as he drew his axe. Luckily, his weapon was an axe.

Furthermore, logging was easy thanks to the external physical arts he had built up.

Puaaa!

It was right in the middle of frantically constructing a raft. A giant fish leaped out of the sea.

A length easily exceeding 5 meters. Seeing it, the man froze.

’...As long as I watch out for that thing, I should be fine.’

He thought to himself.

Puaaaaahk!!!

Until a fish several times larger soared out and devoured it in a single bite.

The sea was, if anything, far more dangerous than land; it was by no means a safe place.

There was a good reason why sailor was considered one of the most dangerous occupations in the world.

Would he give up then? But he couldn’t do that either.

Staying still right here was a prime recipe for starving to death.

’For the resurrection of the Blood Cult.’

The man pushed the sturdily crafted raft into the sea.

Then, boarding it, he began rowing with a self-made oar.

The land gradually receded, and the man grew intensely tense.

’Reaching the next land mass...’

Deu-deu-deu-deu-deu-deu!!!

It was not long after he left the land. Suddenly, a massive vibration began to rumble.

A vibration originating from the ocean, not land. It was hardly a good sign.

No, far from good, it was a purely terrible omen. The man scanned his surroundings.

"I-is it a fish...?"

That giant fish he saw earlier. Was that fish leaping out again?

However, the shaking was far too strong. Even the land he had just left was quaking.

The man looked around to figure out what was happening. Nothing was visible.

"What the hell..."

Chwaaaaahk!

The man couldn’t finish his words.

A mouth so colossal it could swallow whole even the land the man had stepped foot on.

That mouth surged out of the sea and effortlessly swallowed the raft.

From the man’s perspective, shade abruptly enveloped him, followed immediately by total darkness.

"Euaaaaaaaaa!"

To make matters worse, he was falling downward.

Solid external physical arts? Such things held no meaning whatsoever.

If digested after being swallowed whole, internal energy or external arts would all melt away regardless.

Yet the man did not know his fate. He had absolutely no idea what had just occurred.

Chwaaaaaahk!

Meanwhile, the existence that had swallowed the man parted the sea and soared into the sky.

Using its fins as if flapping wings, slowly yet powerfully.

Soon, a body large enough to substitute for land gracefully launched into the sky.

-Buoooooo!

The Sky Whale took flight toward the heavens.

"Euaaaaahk! Th-this bastard...!"

"Shaaaaaaa!!!"

"I’ll turn you into food!!"

Meanwhile, inside its stomach, the man’s desperate survival story had just begun.
